Charly Musonda joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Musonda, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, joined Celtic on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The Belgium Under-21 international has made only three appearances in the Scottish Premiership for the Hoops, playing a total of 208 matches in the league, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Former Celtic striker Walker has admitted his surprise that Musonda has not played too often for the Glasgow giants
Walker told The Daily Mail: “With Musonda, I am surprised he hasn’t played more often. You look at the fanfare around his signing and it was viewed as a special capture.
“Celtic rolled out shirt No 67 for him. But his only big moment has been setting up Callum McGregor against Zenit. Apart from that, he has not had a lot of game-time.”

Fans will agree
Musonda is a hugely talented and promising young attacking player, and Celtic fans will also be wondering why the 21-year-old has not played much.
Perhaps Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers does not want to rush the Belgian too quickly into the team, given that he joined the Hoops on an 18-month loan deal in the January transfer window.
Celtic will face Rangers at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby this weekend.
