Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 1-0 by Celtic in their latest fixture.

Andy Walker has told Sky Sports News, which was broadcast on October 24th, that Mark Warburton got his Glasgow Rangers team selection correct against Celtic.
Rangers lost 1-0 at Hampden Park yesterday, and they were largely outplayed by their Glasgow rivals.
However, Walker felt that the changes Warburton made to his Rangers’ team paid off.

“I thought Warburton did well with his team selection,” the pundit said. “He had to come up with something to show that they could compete on a better scale than they did at Celtic Park.
“Playing Hodson at right-back and Tavernier further forward, they certainly held Celtic at bay and had more energy about them without Joey Barton in midfield.”
Rangers lost 5-1 to Celtic when the two sides met earlier in the season, so in the sense of the scoreline they improved on Sunday.

However, the Ibrox side had goalkeeper Matt Gilks to thank for keeping the scoreline respectful.
Gilks made a number of fine stops, to ensure that Rangers remained in the game right up until the closing stages.
Rangers were eventually undone when Leigh Griffiths crossed for Moussa Dembele, who skilfully poked the ball home from close range.
Rangers are in action again on Wednesday evening, when they take on St. Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership.
