Mark Warburton’s Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers host St Johnstone tomorrow.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Andy Walker has tipped Lee Hodson to be Rangers’ key player in Wednesday’s visit of St Johnstone to Ibrox.
Mark Warburton’s side are aiming for a third successive Scottish Premiership win tomorrow, following victories over Partick and Inverness in recent weeks.
But morale will be low inside the Gers’ camp following Sunday’s 1-0 defeat by Old Firm rivals Celtic in a League Cup semi-final.

The scoreline is a touch misleading in the sense that Celtic could, and should, have won by a much bigger margin, but Rangers keeper Matt Gilks posted a fine performance.
The Northern Irish right-back played that day and Walker said he was one of the few positives for Warburton, whom he claims will play him again for St Johnstone.
“Big positive from the painful Celtic defeat: Manager Mark Warburton knows he can trust him to cope with the pressure,” he told Sky Sports. Walker went on to predict 2-1 in the article.

Winning the Premiership seems extremely unlikely this season, but Rangers need to win in order to avoid Brendan Rodgers’s side – who visit Ross County tomorrow – moving 10 points clear of them.
Finishing second would also provide some decent foundations to build on next season. Their summer targets would be more willing to join the Ibrox club if they finish second to Celtic, rather than third, fourth or fifth behind Rodgers and co.
