Celtic suffered another disappointing result on Sunday afternoon, drawing 3-3 away at Aberdeen in a topsy-turvy game.

The Bhoys fell behind to a Lewis Ferguson penalty, and when Callum McGregor equalised, Aberdeen managed to put themselves back in front through Ryan Hedges.

Celtic turned the game on its head with goals from Leigh Griffiths and Ryan Christie, but suffered late heartbreak as Ferguson buried another penalty to make it 3-3.

That result compounded a miserable few days for Celtic, as they lost at home to Old Firm rivals Rangers before falling 3-1 to AC Milan in the Europa League.

Boss Neil Lennon finds himself under pressure now, and his cause wasn’t exactly helped by summer signing Albian Ajeti against Aberdeen.

The Swiss striker barely had a kick against Aberdeen before being replaced in favour of Leigh Griffiths, and he was criticised by pundit Andy Walker.

Walker told Sky Sports after 70 minutes of the game that Ajeti did ‘absolutely nothing’ in a ‘poor performance’, suggesting that his movement off the ball was disappointing.

Walker added a prediction that Griffiths would have more of an impact, and he was proven right as he took next to no time to smash home a superb finish to get Celtic back into the game, contributing more than Ajeti did.

“He’s done absolutely nothing,” said Walker. “Yeah, he’s had no service, but even his running off the ball; a poor performance from him. You can be guaranteed that between now and the final whistle, Leigh Griffiths will have two, three, four attempts at goal,” he added.
