Has the winger hit the ground running at Celtic so far?

Andy Walker has told Sky Sports that Celtic winger Scott Sinclair has impressed him following his summer move from Aston Villa.
The 27-year-old joined the Hoops earlier this month and has already netted three times in all competitions – two in the Scottish Premiership, one in the League Cup.

His move to Celtic has reunited him with former Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers, having netted 26 goals under the Northern Irishman in the 2010-11 campaign.
He cost the Scottish champions somewhere in the region of £4 million, but Celtic legend Walker says Sinclair – who netted a last-gasp winner at Hearts on his debut, hours after joining the club – is worth every penny.

“I think Scott Sinclair, even allowing for the fact he cost Celtic close to £4 million, has shown he’s hit the ground running,” he told Sky Sports.
“Getting a goal against Hearts immediately endeared himself to the Celtic support and followed it up with a goal against Motherwell in the League Cup.
“He’s shown a turn of pace that a lot of defenders are going to find it hard to live with.”
If Sinclair can rediscover his Swansea form under Rodgers, which does not appear to be a big ‘if’, then it will go a long, long way to helping the Northern Irish manager enjoy a very successful first season with Celtic.
The former Manchester City man will also get a better chance to shine on the big stage this season after helping the Bhoys progress into the Champions League group stage for the first time in two years.
