Alexis Mac Allister joined Liverpool from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window and has become a regular in the first team.
Liverpool paid Premier League rivals Brighton and Hove Albion an initial transfer fee of £35 million for Alexis Mac Allister.
Mac Allister did extremely well for Brighton last season and also won the 2022 Qatar World Cup with Argentina.
I was not surprised when Liverpool signed the midfielder.
And, in my opinion, the 24-year-old has done quite well for Liverpool so far this season.

Mac Allister has made eight appearances in the Premier League for the Reds.
The Liverpool no. 10 has given one assist in those games.
Mac Allister, who has been deployed in central midfield, has also made two substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa League.
Andy Townsend on Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister
Former Chelsea midfielder Andy Townsend rates Mac Allister, but the talkSPORT pundit has noted a flaw in his game.
Townsend said about Mac Allister on talkSPORT (6:52 am, October 17, 2023): “Alexis Mac Allister playing for Liverpool at the moment in a more of a deeper sitting position, again a brilliant footballer, very, very clever, spots a pass, but not necessarily the greatest when you lose possession.”
My View: Alexis Mac Allister will get better
In my opinion, Liverpool and Argentina international midfielder Alexis Mac Allister will get better and improve in the coming years.
After all, he is only 24 now.
We have seen the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane improve and get better under Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.
True, off the ball, Mac Allister does need to improve his game, but he is still quite young and is not the finished article yet.
