Real Madrid winger Gareth Bale is reportedly on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur.

Gareth Bale is struggling to get into the Real Madrid first team despite being fully fit, and there has been speculation that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing him back.
Bale was on the books of Tottenham from 2007 until 2013 when he made the move to Spanish and European giants Madrid for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £85 million.
The Wales international winger has had injury issues during his time in Spain so far, but in terms of winning trophies, he has been hugely successful.
The 29-year-old former Southampton man has won La Liga once and the Champions League four times with Los Blancos.
Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane, though, does not seem to fancy Bale and does not start him regularly.
According to The Sun, Tottenham are interested in signing Bale from Madrid in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that Spurs’ transfer committee are discussing the possibility of a loan deal for the winger.

Former Chelsea midfielder Andy Townsend has given his take on speculation on Bale, and said on The Monday Night Club show on BBC Radio 5 Live on Monday evening (8:29pm, May 5, 2019): “Would he come back to Spurs? Would they want to spend that sort of money?
“Literally having spent nothing for a couple of years, that’s like dipping your toe into a furnace all of a sudden.”
