Tottenham Hotspur star Christian Eriksen is reportedly on the radar of Real Madrid and Juventus.
Andy Townsend has told Sky Sports that Christian Eriksen is not irreplaceable for Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino wants Eriksen to sign a new contract with the North London club, as quoted in The Sun.
The Denmark international attacking midfielder is on the radar of Real Madrid and Juventus, according to The Sun.
The 26-year-old has been on the books of Tottenham since the summer of 2013 when he joined from Ajax for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £11.5 million.
According to Transfermarkt.com, Eriksen is out of contract at Spurs in the summer of 2020, and former Chelsea midfielder Townsend thinks that the North London outfit can replace the attacking midfielder.
Townsend told Sky Sports about Eriksen: “If selling Christian Eriksen meant they could fund two very, very good players, I don’t think he is irreplaceable. He is a very good player.”

Eriksen is one of the best and most creative attacking midfielders in Europe, and it would make sense for Tottenham to keep hold of the Dane.
It is hard to see Tottenham entertain the idea of selling the 26-year-old in the January transfer window even for a large amount of transfer fee.
