After a goalless first half, Cardiff took the lead through Joe Ralls after Callum Paterson had been bundled over by Jake Bidwell.

The home side fought back brilliantly and got the equaliser soon after when Matt Smith scored with a header.
Rangers took the lead in the 72nd minute when the 20-year-old fired home after picking up a flick from Smith.
It was QPR’s second win in 11 games, and with that they have climbed up to 17th in the Championship table, six points clear of the bottom three.
Cardiff City thought they have rescued a draw, but Junior Hoilett’s goal was flagged for offside.

Former QPR player and club legend Andy Sinton took to social networking site Twitter to express his reaction. He has praised the debutant for his brilliant performance.
QPR retained 54% of possession, and had 12 shots during the game, according to BBC Sport.
