Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson has raved about Leeds United on the club’s official website.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool will take on Leeds away from home at Elland Road in the Premier League tomorrow.
Leeds will head into the match against the Reds on the back of a 2-1 victory over Manchester City away from home at the Etihad Stadium in the league.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side played the entire second half of the game with 10 men after defender Liam Cooper was sent off in first-half injury time.
Leeds have been superb so far this season, and the way they play and take the game to the opposition no matter who they are is simply stunning.
Liverpool were given a run for their money by Leeds earlier in the season, and left-back Robertson knows that it will be hard this time around as well, saying that the distance they cover is “frightening” and adding that although they are mid-table, they will be pushing to move further up the standings.
Robertson told Liverpool’s official website about Leeds: “You know they’re going to run to the end, they’re a bit similar to us in that, but the distance they cover is frightening. They play a very unique style which a lot of teams have struggled to adapt with. I think we struggled as well in the first game of the season, obviously finishing 4-3, it feels so long ago.
“I think they were kind of an unknown entity in the league then but now they’ve stamped their mark and stamped their authority on this league this season and that’s why they’re in the position they’re in. They’re obviously mid-table and they’re looking to push further up. They’ve got teams above them in sight as well so they’re going to keep pushing right until the very end.
“I don’t think their manager or their players will allow any different and we know on Monday night it’s going to be an incredibly tough game, so we need to be at 100 per cent and let’s hope that’s enough.”

Leeds United to win?
Leeds have shown time and time again this season they can win – or at least compete – against the best teams and will simply not give up.
Liverpool will know that they will have to match the intensity of the Leeds players throughout the 90 minutes if they are to even get a point from the encounter.
Bielsa’s side are 10th in the Premier League table at the moment with 45 points from 31 matches, and there is still a slim chance that they could end up in the European places.
