Hollywood star Adam Sandler had some words of advice for Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift after they got married, according to Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.
The power couple are thought to have tied the knot in New York on Friday, although they have managed to keep the star-studded event largely shrouded in secrecy.
It has been claimed, however, that actor and comedian Sandler actually officiated the ceremony inside Madison Square Garden.
NFL star Kelce met Sandler when the two worked on Happy Gilmore 2 and Reid has now revealed the words of advice he had for the couple.
Sandler tells Kelce and Swift to keep kissing
Reid was asked by journalist Krysyan Edler exactly what was said at the wedding which has the world talking.
The 68-year-old said: “Adam Sandler conducted the service there and he told them to keep kissing. So, in its simplest form, that’s a good thing. Hard to argue when you give your wife a kiss, or when she gives you a kiss.
“Make sure you do it every day, every minute that you have an opportunity to do it. You won’t have problems. In a simple, hysterical way, he was phenomenal. He’s crazy but he did a great job in getting them married with a lot of humor. But that part there, I thought, was pretty good advice.”
More and more details are starting to emerge from the wedding, though eager fans might not get the full picture for a while, if ever.
A plethora of A-list celebrities are thought to have attended and, interestingly, TMZ claim that Sandler reprised his role from the film The Wedding Singer by performing his own song at the ceremony.
Reid was among a number of leading NFL figures who are believed to have attended the event, too.
Sandler has also reportedly known Swift for years, with both of his daughters huge fans of the music icon.
It’s going to be difficult to keep details of this wedding quiet forever, of course.
Jason Kelce is thought to have served as best man, while Swift’s brother Austin served as her man of honor.
