Leeds United started off the new 2019/20 Championship campaign by clinching all three points against Bristol City.

Sky Sports pundit Andy Hinchcliffe has spoken in awe of Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez for his ‘absolutely outstanding’ display against Bristol City on Sunday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side beat the Robins 3-1 at Ashton Gate, with Hernandez opening the scoring with a brilliant strike from outside of the area in the first half – he then went onto set up Patrick Bamford for his goal, as Jack Harrison scored the other.
As always with Leeds, there was a lot of drama surrounding their opening fixture, but the Yorkshire club delivered with a top class display.
Speaking during his Sky Sports (04/08/2019) commentary stint, Hinchcliffe praised Hernandez for appreciating his teammates around him as he explained why he was handing him the Man of the Match award.
“I think it has been a dominant team display by Leeds United,” Hinchliffe told Sky Sports. “But Pablo Hernandez has been the star man. His work rate, his finishing, his appreciation of the movement of his teammates around him.

“He’s scored one and he’s made one. Absolutely outstanding. He’s started this season, how he played the majority of last.”
Once again, Hernandez proved his worth to Leeds and perhaps showcased why he is the best player in the second tier of English football.
If Leeds are to earn promotion this season then his performances will be crucial because if he produces the goods then it makes those around him tick.
