Leeds United picked up a big win on Tuesday evening, beating Southampton 3-0 at Elland Road.

The Whites were second best in the first half, but came out firing after the break as Patrick Bamford smashed home a left-footed strike.

Stuart Dallas hit the second, before Raphinha curled in a superb free kick to wrap up a 3-0 victory for Leeds.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men move up to 10th in the Premier League table, and Raphinha undoubtedly stole the show with a stunning display.

The Brazilian winger not only scored the third goal, but also recorded four key passes, three accurate cross, two successful dribbles and one interception.

He was at the heart of all things good for Leeds, as has been the case for many weeks now, and he was hailed by pundit Andy Hinchcliffe.

Hinchcliffe, between the 83rd and 88th minutes, told Sky Sports that he thought Raphinha was ‘truly outstanding’ and ran Jan Bednarek ragged.

Hinchcliffe added that Raphinha was ‘unplayable’, claiming it was another class performance from a brilliant player, whilst hailing his work rate.

“He has been truly outstanding,” said Hinchcliffe. “This man can really, really play. From a dead ball, he’s proved how deadly he can be.”

“Jan Bednarek will sleep very well tonight because he’s been run ragged in this second half. There’s not many genuine full backs that can deal with Raphinha, let alone a centre half dragged out into full-back areas. He’s just a nightmare to deal with.”

“He’s just been unplayable. Another class performance from a brilliant player. His work off the ball as well, his willingness to work for the team – that’s just as amazing,” he added.
