Rangers midfielder Andy Halliday at Ibrox
Halliday joined Rangers in the summer of 2015 after leaving Bradford City at the end of the 2014-15 season.
The 26-year-old midfielder spent the first half of the 2017-18 campaign on loan at Gabala FK in the Azerbaijan Premier League and struggled to make an impact at Rangers in the second half of the season.
The Scottish midfielder has admitted that he was unsure of his future at Rangers at the start of the season.
Halliday told The Scottish Sun: “I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think it was going to happen for me here this season.
“Coming into pre-season I knew it was going to be tough for me to be here, especially with the amount of players coming in. There was also stuff which happened towards the end of last season.”

Rangers stay
Halliday played well for Rangers against Dundee at Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership this past weekend.
The performance of the former Middlesbrough midfielder impressed a number of Rangers fans, as reported on HITC Sport.
The 26-year-old Scottish midfielder will be an important player for Rangers this season and will get good playing time, especially with Steven Gerrard’s side playing in the Europa League as well this campaign.
