Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers look a more cohesive unit under Graeme Murty than they were under Pedro Caixinha.

Andy Halliday has told Rangers TV that the atmosphere in the squad under Graeme Murty is “night and day” in comparison to what it was like when Pedro Caixina was in charge.
Rangers parted company with Caixinha back in October and results have improved since Murty took over on a short-term contract.
The Gers, who thumped Ayr 6-1 on Sunday to reach the quarter-final of the Scottish Cup, have won 10 and lost six of their 17 Premiership games under the 43-year-old former Reading defender – a 0-0 at Celtic being the only draw.

Halliday was shipped off to Azerbaijan by Caixinha in a loan spell which was terminated last month, with the 26-year-old midfielder now back in Rangers’ first-team squad.
And the Scot believes that the whole team is a lot happier under Murty than they ever were under the Portuguese manager.
He told Rangers TV: “Yes, 100 per cent [there is a different atmosphere in the squad].

“It’s night and day in terms of the atmosphere and night and day in terms of the intensity in training as well. That’s all credit to the gaffer.
“It’s a lot happier [a] training ground, it’s a lot happier [a] dressing room every single day.”
