The Rangers player was speaking ahead of Feyenoord’s visit to Ibrox this week.

The Gers made 11 first-team signings during the summer transfer window, with the Ibrox board sanctioning multi-million pound deals for players such as Filip Helander and Ryan Kent.
With others such as Joe Aribo also added to the wage bill, it was strong backing for Gerrard after positive steps under the Liverpool icon last season.
Halliday believes that it will all allow heavy rotation in the team over the next few months as he and others get set to cope with the demands of European and domestic football.
As quoted by The Scottish Sun, he said: “We are going to have Thursday-Sunday from now until Christmas so there is going to be rotation there.
“I think that is the reason that the board have backed the gaffer the way they have this year. And the reason the gaffer has decided to bring in players to add competition.
“That is the healthy conversations the gaffer has had with certain players this year. It is up to the players to grab their opportunity when it comes.”
Can Rangers fight on both fronts?
The record of Gerrard’s side after group stage matches last season was almost flawless.
In fact, some of the games following Thursday tests resulted in some of the best performances of their entire campaign.
After each of the six matches, the Gers lost just once, which was a tough encounter against Aberdeen in the Scottish League Cup semi-final. A 7-1 victory over Motherwell and a 5-1 win over St Johnstone both came after European action.

That would suggest that Gerrard knows how to properly utilise his side to show consistency in the league despite the demands of continental football.
As Halliday notes, there was significant investment in the squad this summer, so Rangers should only be better equipped.
The next few months will define Rangers’ season, so it’s hugely important that the Ibrox stars answer Halliday’s call and step up to the plate when asked.
