Tottenham Hotspur are due to meet Manchester United at Old Trafford at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Andy Gray has told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, which was broadcast on TalkSPORT on 7th December, that he believes Tottenham Hotspur can end Manchester United’s hopes of qualifying for the Champions League this season if they beat them this weekend.
Spurs are set to take on United at Old Trafford on Sunday, and they could move nine points clear of Jose Mourinho’s side, if they are able to pick up the victory.
Gray believes that gap will be insurmountable for United, meaning that the pressure is firmly on the Red Devils to avoid defeat.

He said: “It’s huge. I think this is a massive test of their character and ability. Tottenham have been a bit iffy. If they lose, the top four might be too far away. It’s a game which I feel United will have to go out and play at their very best in.”
Tottenham, themselves, are not even in the top four as things stand – as they are trailing fourth placed Manchester City by three points.

It means that United could be left 12 points behind the Champions League qualification spots, if they do lose to Spurs.
Tottenham have not been in great form of late, but they have still proven tough to beat – after losing just once all season in the league.
Spurs also go into the game on the back of a 5-0 win over Swansea City in their latest league match.
United, on the other hand, drew with Everton at Goodison Park in their most recent outing.
