Leeds face Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United at Elland Road in a top-of-the-table clash.

Andy Couzens has urged Leeds United manager Thomas Christiansen to play three in midfield as the Whites prepare to face Yorkshire rivals Sheffield United on Friday night.
In what is a hugely important fixture for both sides as this stage of the season, Leeds could fall seven points adrift of the top three if they lose to Chris Wilder’s in-form Blades.

Leeds fielded a three-man midfield against Bristol City last weekend after suffering three straight league defeats and the change in system paid off, with Christiansen celebrating a 3-0 victory over Lee Johnson’s side.
Former Leeds midfielder Couzens remarked on his personal Twitter account that he wants “three points”, as well as urging the Whites to field a three-man midfield.

Before adopting a combination of three midfielders, Christiansen had preferred a 4-2-3-1 system with Ireland international Eunan O’Kane and academy product Kalvin Phillips combining.
However, teenage ace Ronaldo Vieira started alongside the duo against the Robins and his display was a stand-out highlight from the 3-0 win.
Three points and an eighth league win of the season for Leeds would see them leapfrog Sheffield United into third place, and only one point behind second-placed Cardiff.
