Leeds United need another hitman, says Andy Couzens.
Andy Couzens has said on Twitter that he would like to see Leeds United sign a striker before the month is out.
Leeds grabbed seven goals in their first two matches but Thomas Christiansen’s side have endured back-to-back 0-0 draws at Elland Road over the past week.
Chris Wood hasn’t hit top form as of yet and missed a couple of glorious chances in both games, but Caleb Ekuban, who scored in the 4-1 League Cup win over Port Vale, is untested in the Championship following his arrival from Chievo this summer.

With Marcus Antonsson loaned to Blackburn Rovers and Souleymane Doukara unlikely to play a big role for the Whites, Christiansen is short on proven alternatives to Wood.
And Couzens has admitted that he would like to see his former club bring in another goalscorer before the window closes.
United visit Sunderland on Saturday and another failure to get a win will certainly strengthen the common belief that Leeds don’t have enough up front.
Wood was phenomenal last season, grabbing 30 goals in all competitions, and if he doesn’t hit the same heights this season then Christiansen’s side could be in trouble unless competition is signed.
