The former Leeds United believes a player-plus-cash deal is possible with Burnley.
Andy Couzens has suggested on Twitter that Leeds United could be interested in a swap deal with Burnley as Chris Wood edges nearer to joining the Clarets.
The 25-year-old looks set to join the Premier League side after ruling himself out of Leeds’ 2-0 win at Sunderland on Saturday.

The Mirror reported that Burnley will pay around £15 million for the hitman, who scored 30 goals in all competitions for Leeds last season.
With 10 days to go in the window, it does not give the Whites a lot of time to find an adequate replacement, but the club’s former midfielder believes that a swap deal with Sean Dyche’s outfit could be on the cards, after being asked about Ashley Barnes.
Fans of the Yorkshire club wouldn’t be swinging from the chandeliers if Barnes joined as part of the Wood deal.
The 27-year-old has only netted 14 league goals in 93 outings for the Clarets. Given Wood scored 27 in the Championship last term, he is unlikely to be the answer.
