Would Stoke City’s Peter Crouch or Liverpool’s Danny Ings be suitable replacements for Chris Wood at Leeds United?

Andy Couzens has taken to social networking site Twitter to give his take on the impending departure of Chris Wood from Leeds United.

Wood did not play for Leeds in the Championship game against Sunderland away from home at the Stadium of Light on Saturday evening.

The New Zealand international striker posted a message on social networking site Twitter explaining his reason.

The 25-year-old former Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion man revealed that discussions are going on with a club in the Premier League (click here to read more).

That Premier League club is probably Burnley, with The Lancashire Telegraph reporting that Wood will undergo a medical at the Clarets on Sunday.

Former Leeds midfielder Couzens has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Wood’s message on Twitter.

The 42-year-old has also named two strikers that the Whites could bring in to replace the 25-year-old.

Couzens has named Stoke City’s Peter Crouch, 36, and 25-year-old Danny Ings of Liverpool as replacements for Wood.

Former Leeds defender Tony Dorigo has also taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the Wood situation.
