David Stockdale was linked with a move to Leeds United last summer.

Andy Couzens has told LS11 on YouTube that David Stockdale would ‘100 percent’ want to join Leeds United in January.
Stockdale is out of the picture under former Leeds boss Garry Monk at Birmingham, with the 33-year-old failing to make a single appearance all season.
Monk sanctioned a seven-day emergency loan to Southend back in September, but Stockdale’s prospects seem no brighter since returning to the West Midlands.
The Elland Road side had a bid knocked back for the Leeds-born veteran last summer [Birmingham Mail] and the Whites are in the market for a new keeper.
Jamal Blackman saw his loan in West Yorkshire terminated last week after breaking his leg during an Under-23 game, leaving Bailey Peacock-Farrell as the only experienced option in Marcelo Bielsa’s side.
Ex-Leeds midfielder Couzens told LS11 on YouTube: “I was at the boxing with David and we had good chats. That [summer Leeds move] was on the cards but the biggest problem is he was on a four-year contract at Birmingham.
“He’s going to be on a lot of money because he came from Brighton, but definitely 100 percent if Leeds United came in for him he would bite their hand off.”
Stockdale, who is contracted to City until 2020, has a market value of £2 million according to Silly Season and it remains to be seen if United do renew an interest.
If Couzens is right, he would jump at the chance to sign for Leeds, but would Monk strengthen a team who already look like strong promotion candidates? Time will tell.
