Reported Reading target Modou Barrow played on loan at Leeds United from Swansea City during the second half of last season.

Former Leeds United midfielder Andy Couzens has taken to social networking site Twitter to comment on Modou Barrow’s impending move from Swansea City to Reading.

Barrow, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Leeds, has been linked with a move from Premier League club Swansea to Championship side Reading in the summer transfer window.

According to Sky Sports, the Royals have agreed a £1.25 million fee with the Swans over the transfer of the 24-year-old, who can operate as a winger or as a forward.

Former Leeds midfielder Couzens, who is 42 years of age, has taken to Twitter to comment on Barrow’s impending switch to Reading.

Couzens seems to be surprised that the Swans are getting as much as £1.25m and has criticised the Gambia international’s performance for Leeds during the second half of the 2016-17 campaign.

Barrow was able to make only starts and four substitute appearances in the Championship for Leeds last season; the attacker failed to score a single goal or provide a single assist.

Leeds narrowly failed to finish in the top six of the Championship during the 2016-17 campaign and will be determined to clinch a place in the playoffs next season.
