Leeds got the better of Barnsley 2-0 away from home at Oakwell in the Championship on Saturday afternoon, thanks to goals from Samuel Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski in the first half.

Saiz put the visiting team in the lead midway through the first half when he found the target from 25 yards.
Alioski doubled the advantage for the Whites in the third minute of first-half injury time, slotting home a curling left-footed effort from the edge of the box.
Former Leeds midfielder Couzens, 42, has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to the win for Thomas Christiansen’s side.

The win against Barnsley means that Leads are eighth in the Championship table at the moment with 29 points from 19 matches.
The Whites are now three points behind Derby County, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.
