Leeds United remain at the top of the Championship, but they have suffered their second defeat in a row.

Andy Couzens has taken to Twitter to comment on Leeds’ defeat to Nottingham Forest on New Year’s Day – and the former Whites midfielder has chosen to take a positive view about the club’s position.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side remain at the top of the Championship, but it was another disappointing afternoon for the league leaders. A mistake from Adam Forshaw saw Leeds go behind in the first few minutes, and the first-half got worse for the visitors.
After Jack Robinson was perhaps fortunate to not see red for a foul on Jack Harrison, Kalvin Phillips was dismissed for a terrible challenge just before the interval.
Leeds played some good football despite the setbacks, and they went in front 25 minutes from the end as Jack Clarke and Gjanni Alioski both found the back of the net.

But the lead was short-lived as Forest scored three times in seven minutes to secure the three points and hand Leeds their second successive defeat following their loss at home to Hull.
However, Couzens attempted to lift some of the gloom by pointing out on social media that Leeds had the opportunities to win the contest and remain at the top of the Championship table.
