Leeds United have agreed a deal with Burnley for left back Charlie Taylor.
Former Leeds United midfielder Andy Couzens has taken to Twitter to urge the club to spend the money earned from Charlie Taylor on a new centre back.
Left back Taylor, 23, came up through the ranks with Leeds and became a first-team star at Elland Road, racking up over 100 appearances before an acrimonious departure this summer.

Taylor refused to play in Leeds’ final game of last season away at Wigan Athletic, and with his contract expiring, his departure was effectively sealed, even if he didn’t have a club lined up.
Eventually, Burnley did swoop to land Taylor at the end of his Leeds contract, but the Whites were still entitled to compensation, meaning they could either negotiate a deal with Burnley or take them to a tribunal to decide the fee.
Today, both clubs confirmed that a deal has now been agreed, with Leeds receiving an undisclosed but considerable compensation package for Taylor, who will be looking to further his career in the Premier League.
Whilst Leeds have already brought in Felix Wiedwald, Vurnon Anita, Matthew Pennington, Madger Gomes, Mateusz Klich, Hadi Sacko, Ezgjan Alioski, Samu Saiz and Caleb Ekuban this summer, the Taylor deal now gives Thomas Christiansen a chance to spend more cash.

After Leeds announced the agreement, former Whites midfielder Andy Couzens took to Twitter to offer his reaction, and suggested that Leeds must spent the money on a key position – but not landing a left back to replace Taylor.
Instead, Couzens feels that Leeds must spend the money on another centre back to challenge with Pennington, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper, solidifying the back line after Kyle Bartley returned to Swansea City.
