Leeds have sacked Paul Heckingbottom after just four months in charge.

Former Leeds United midfielder Andy Couzens has shown his sympathy towards manager Paul Heckingbottom after he was given his marching orders by owner Andrea Radrizzani at Elland Road.
Heckingbottom, who took over from Thomas Christiansen at the start of 2018, managed just four wins in 16 games and although he had spoken about his summer transfer plans, Leeds have decided to go in a different direction.

It sees Leeds now on the lookout for their third manager of 2018 already, with the former Barnsley boss being told he had been sacked just moments after returning from a family holiday in Greece.
Couzens, who played for Leeds for four years between 1993 and 1997 and has since worked with LUTV, felt sorry for Heckingbottom as he reacted on Twitter – but he did state that his results were not good enough.
Leeds turnover of managers is becoming somewhat ludicrous, with nine new faces in the dugout since Neil Warnock’s sacking in 2012 – Steve Evans, Dave Hockaday, Brian McDermott, Darko Milanic, Uwe Rosler, Neil Redfearn, Garry Monk, Christiansen and Heckingbottom.
The early contenders to replace Heckingbottom are experienced Championship duo Steve Bruce and Mick McCarthy while Premier League winner Claudio Ranieri has also been mentioned.
But the surprise front runner for the job is ex-Argentina gaffer Marcelo Bielsa, who has also managed the likes of Lazio, Chile, Lille and Marseille.
