Premier League legend Andy Cole has spoken about Wolverhampton Wanderers’ return to the top flight and shared three of the club’s players he likes and why.

The 47-year-old sits third in the pantheon of the Premier League’s all-time goalscorers, his 187 goals putting him behind only Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer (official PL website).

Cole has also had his fair share of encounters against Wolves, and speaking to the club’s official website after their FA Cup win over Bristol City, he shared some of his thoughts about the Molineux club.

“As a centre-forward in this Wolves team, you’re going to get chances,” he said in response. “I’m very attack-minded, so I like [Raul] Jimenez, [Diogo] Jota and [Helder] Costa. They are very creative.”

Manchester United, Cole’s former club, will be up next for Wolves in the competition, the West Midlanders hoping to add another notable FA Cup scalp to their collection having already taken that of Liverpool in January.
