Newcastle United snapped up Jacob Muprhy from Norwich City earlier this week.
Andy Cole has suggested on Twitter that Jacob Murphy will be a good signing for Newcastle United.
Murphy signed for Newcastle earlier this week, after agreeing to move from Norwich City.
Rafael Benitez made the winger one of his top targets this summer, and Cole believes that a move to St. James’ Park could work out well for the young prospect.
Murphy was one of the stand out players in the Championship last term, when he was a constant menace to defences across the division.
The England youth international will be hoping to be similarly as effective in the Premier League.
Murphy became Newcastle’s third addition of the summer transfer window so far, with Benitez’s side surprisingly quiet so far.
Newcastle have also brought in Florian Lejeune and Christian Atsu, but more new faces are set to arrive before the competitive season starts.
The Magpies get their campaign underway with a match against Tottenham Hotspur in August.
