Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-min Son has been a regular member of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI in recent seasons.

Andy Cole has waxed-lyrical about the recently-absent Tottenham ace Heung-min Son by claiming he’s never been given the credit he deserves.
The 26-year-old returned from international duty over the weekend after South Korea were knocked out of the Asian Cup, with the versatile attacker admitting that he feels ‘physically empty’, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Son has been a regular member of Mauricio Pochettino’s starting XI in recent seasons, possessing the ability to play all across the attacking third.
Former Manchester United striker Cole was full of praise for the ‘proven’ Son as he was adamant that he has always been a ‘quality’ player.
“I really do him,” Cole told the Debate show on Sky Sports on 25/01/2019. “I always say, he is quality. I don’t think he has been given the credit that he deserves.
“He has proved the goals he has scored this season. The way he has played this season. He is top draw.”
In his absence, added with the injuries to attacking duo Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Tottenham have been knocked out of two cup competitions within the space of three days.

On Thursday, Chelsea knocked their London rivals out of the Carabao Cup after overturning a one-goal deficit and winning the two-legged tie on penalties at Stamford Bridge.
Then over the weekend, Pochettino’s men were dumped out of the FA Cup, this time Crystal Palace were the team to inflict the damage as they strolled to a 2-0 win in front of their own supporters.
Over the course of the season, Son has played 28 matches in all competitions for Tottenham, scoring 12 goals and supplying his teammates with nine assists, according to transfermarkt.
