West Ham United currently sit in the bottom three of the Premier League.
West Ham United star Andy Carroll has told the club’s official website that the mood around the training ground is positive, despite their poor start.
The Hammers have endured a horrendous start to the campaign and currently find themselves sitting in the bottom three.
They have picked up just four points so far and are in the midst of a run of five games without a win, four of which they have lost.
It is easy to imagine that confidence around the club is low as a result but Carroll has insisted to the club’s official website that is not the case.
“We have got a great group of lads and the dressing room is still trying to stay positive,” he said.
“We have had meetings about the performances which have not been the best. But the lads are great and everyone is still positive around the training ground. We just need to get out of this position and I am sure things will turn around.”
The striker also insists that the club’s players love the London Stadium despite reports to the contrary.
West Ham moved to their new home at the beginning of this season, leaving their lifelong home of Upton Park in the process, and it has not been a happy move for them so far as they have picked up just one win their in their four games.
Some have suggested that the club’s players are struggling to adapt to the change of environment but Carroll insists they love their new surroundings.
“It has been fantastic for us moving into the new stadium and it is great for the club,” he added.
“I know there have been a lot of discussions about the move, but the players love it. It is one of the biggest grounds in England and it is great for us to have that and have it being part of the club.”
