Is Andy Carroll leaving West Ham United this summer?
It looks like Andy Carroll’s girlfriend might have hinted that his future lies away from West Ham United.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side rounded off their home campaign with a rousing 3-0 win over Southampton on Saturday afternoon.
Carroll, who hasn’t played for West Ham since February, was in attendance at the London Stadium along with his girlfriend Billi Mucklow.
The 30-year-old striker is out of contract in East London this summer and, going by his partner’s Instagram post, he may not be signing a new deal.
She wrote ‘Farewell West Ham’ in an Instagram post alongside the big hitman, who earns £90,000 per week with the Irons [Spotrac].
The England international joined West Ham on a permanent basis back in 2013 but injuries have limited him in a big way, netting 26 league goals in only 102 outings.
It isn’t a great return for a big-money striker and although a lot of Hammers fans will be sad to see him go, many more will be pleased to be turning over a new leaf.
Fitness, combined with a modest goal return, has meant that he has never really been a reliable player for West Ham and it looks like that may never be the case in East London.
