West Ham United striker Andy Carroll worked with Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool.

It has been reported that Celtic have told agents that they are looking to sign two strikers next month.
One of the options, according to the report, is West Ham striker Carroll, who worked with Celtic manager Rodgers at Liverpool.
Risking signing?
It is hard to see Celtic able to sign Carroll on a permanent contract due to the transfer fee and the massive wages, but a loan deal may not be entirely unrealistic.
After all, the 29-year-old former Liverpool and Newcastle United striker is struggling for playing time at West Ham at the moment despite being fully fit.

However, given the injury problems the England international has had over the years, Carroll will be a risky signing for Celtic.
The Hoops cannot have another striker who will have injury issues, as they need someone to score goals regularly during the second half of the season.
Moreover, Carroll may not want to move to Scotland, as he could feel that he is still good enough to lead the line for a team in the Premier League.
