Leeds United won against Middlesbrough in the Championship at the weekend, while Marcus Antonsson scored for Blackburn Rovers against Bury in League One.

Leeds United returned to winning ways at the weekend, as they got the better of Middlesbrough 2-1 at home in the Championship.
Pablo Hernandez put the West Yorkshire outfit in the lead after 24 minutes, and Ezgjan Alioski doubled the advantage nine minutes into the second half.
Although Britt Assombalonga halved the deficit for the visiting team from the penalty spot in the 77th minute, the hosts held on for all three points at Elland Road.

The performance of Leeds against Garry Monk’s side was very encouraging, and on the balance of play, the home team deservedly picked up all three points.
Former Middlesbrough striker Andy Campbell was following the match, and he has admitted on social networking site Twitter that Thomas Christiansen’s side deserved to win.
The 38-year-old, though, found the refereeing disgusting throughout the 90 minutes.

Meanwhile, Leeds-owned striker Marcus Antonsson has taken to Twitter to express his delight at Blackburn Rovers’ win against Bury away from home at the weekend.
The 26-year-old, who joined Blackburn on loan from Leeds in the summer transfer window, scored twice in the 3-0 win for Rovers at Bury in League One on Saturday afternoon.
