Tottenham Hotspur took on Crystal Palace on Wednesday, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side running out the victors.

Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has thanked Tottenham Hotspur fans for the reception that they gave him on Wednesday evening.
Townsend, who began his career at Spurs, still remains a popular figure at White Hart Lane for his contribution during his time with the Lilywhites.
Townsend was part of the Crystal Palace squad who visited Tottenham’s new ground on Wednesday.
And the England international winger was very impressed by Spurs’ new set-up.
Townsend made 93 appearances for Tottenham during his time with the club, scoring 11 goals.
Townsend actually started on the substitutes’ bench for Palace in midweek, which meant he was unable to help, as Tottenham picked up a comfortable victory.
Spurs won their first match in their new ground 2-0, with Heung-Min Son and Christian Eriksen getting on the scoresheet.
