Crystal Palace star sends message to Hull City’s Ryan Mason who has announced his retirement.

Andros Townsend has posted an emotional message to former Tottenham teammate Ryan Mason after the midfielder announced his retirement.
Mason suffered a skull fracture in a clash with Chelsea 13 months ago while playing for Hull and has been advised by doctors to retire.
Townsend came through Tottenham’s academy alongside Mason and the pair went on to play for England together.
Now with Crystal Palace, Townsend sent a public message to Mason on Twitter.
Mason is just 26-years-old and he has lost approximately a decade of his career due to the injury.
It is even more cruel as he was a late bloomer, having only broken into the Tottenham team in his early 20s.
He had only completed half a season at Hull before his injury, and the Tigers went on to suffer relegation.
