Crystal Palace could sell winger Andros Townsend this summer.

According to The Mirror, Crystal Palace are willing to sell winger Andros Townsend for around £14million this summer – just over what they paid three years ago.
The Eagles saw Townsend notch nine goals and four assists this past season, including a stunning volley in the win over Manchester City in December.
Townsend is about to turn 28, and whilst Palace are fighting to keep Wilfried Zaha, they may not put up the same fight to keep hold of Townsend.
The Mirror report that Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers now wants the winger, and a £14million fee would be required to lure him away from Selhurst Park.
That price should attract the interest of other clubs, and Newcastle United should be looking to bring him back to St. James’ Park this summer.
Rafael Benitez loved working with Townsend during their brief spell together at Newcastle, and Sky Sports claimed last summer that the Magpies failed with bids to lure him back in January and summer 2018.

It’s clear that Benitez wants Townsend back at Newcastle, and if he’s available for just £14million, then it’s time for the Magpies to swoop in and bring him back to the club.
Townsend may well be interested himself, whilst he’d add another dangerous attacking option to Benitez’s team alongside Miguel Almiron, Ayoze Perez and Salomon Rondon, especially with Kenedy going back to Chelsea after a dismal season.
