Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend has been heavily linked with Newcastle United, with Rafael Benitez keen on bringing him to St. James’ Park.

Newcastle United supporters have taken to Twitter to urge Andros Townsend to come back to St. James’ Park, after his latest message.
Townsend shone in Crystal Palace’s latest pre-season friendly against Halmstads BK, which they won 6-1, and he was quick to show how his pre-season was going on social media.
Newcastle supporters were swift to pick up on the message, and are now hoping to persuade Townsend into a move.
Townsend has been heavily linked with a move to Newcastle so far this summer, with Rafael Benitez keen to bring the winger back.
Townsend spent six months at Newcastle back in 2016, and he impressed despite the Magpies’ relegation.
The England international winger is understood to be a part of Roy Hodgson’s plans for next season.
