Jamie Carragher has said on The Overlap that Andros Townsend has been amazing for Everton so far this season.
The former Liverpool defender has also praised Everton central midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure for his displays for Rafael Benitez’s side so far this campaign.
The Sky Sports pundit mentioned the two Everton stars while discussing the best players in the Premier League so far this campaign.
Carragher said on The Overlap: “Andros Townsend has been amazing, Doucoure since he came in as well.”

Townsend joined Everton in the summer transfer window.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United winger was a free transfer for the Toffees.
The 30-year-old arrived at Goodison Park after leaving Premier League rivals Crystal Palace.
The 5ft 11in winger has made an instant impact at Everton and is flourishing under Benitez.
The Everton no. 14 has made six starts and one substitute appearances in the Premier League this season.
The winger has scored three goals and given two assists in those matches.
Townsend has also scored two goals and provided one assist in two Carabao Cup ties.
Everton are doing well at the moment – perhaps better than expected.
We think that Townsend has been superb for the Toffees.
And we have to give Benitez a lot of credit for it.
