Everton picked up a 1-1 draw at Manchester United on Saturday afternoon with Andros Townsend bagging the leveller – before trying to copy Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration.
The Toffees made the short trip to Manchester in search of a shock win, but fell behind to Anthony Martial’s first-half opener.
Townsend bagged the leveller on the break though, with Demarai Gray and Abdoulaye Doucoure linking up brilliantly down the left.
Townsend was picked out on the right, and he drilled his shot beyond David De Gea to give Everton a share of the spoils.

When the ball hit the back of the net, Townsend sprinted over to the Everton fans.
Townsend then attempted to replicate Cristiano Ronaldo’s famous ‘siu’ celebration by the corner flag.
Ronaldo started on the bench and had little impact as a substitute, so that’s the only ‘siu’ Old Trafford saw on Saturday afternoon.
Townsend didn’t quite hit it with the same grace – and was mocked on Twitter as a result.
Van Aanholt mocks Townsend
Townsend’s former Crystal Palace teammate Patrick van Aanholt took to Twitter to react after the winger’s celebration.
Van Aanholt joked that Townsend tried to look like Ronaldo but ended up looking more like a starfish.
It’s doubtful we’ll ever see Townsend attempt that celebration again, and maybe that’s for the best…
