Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the goal celebration of Everton winger Andros Townsend against Manchester United at Old Trafford today.
What’s the story?
Former Tottenham winger Townsend was in action for Everton against United at Old Trafford in the Premier League today.
The 30-year-old winger found the back of the net in the 65th minute.
The former Newcastle United winger then did a celebration that was very similar to how United forward Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates his goals.
What are Tottenham fans saying?
As you can see from the tweets below, Tottenham fans enjoyed Townsend’s ‘SUI celebration’.
Well, some of them anyway.
Some Spurs fans think that the club should have re-signed the winger on a free transfer in the summer of 2021.

The 30-year-old left Tottenham for Newcastle United in 2016 and moved to Everton this summer after leaving Crystal Palace at the end of last season.
The Everton no.14 is doing well under manager Rafael Benitez at the moment.
The winger has scored three goals and provided two assists in the Premier League, and has scored two goals and given one assist in the Carabao Cup.
