Yarmolenko is one of seven new signings at West Ham this summer.

New West Ham United signing Andriy Yarmolenko has told the club’s official website that he is delighted with the style of play Manuel Pellegrini is implementing since the Argentine’s arrival as manager.
Pellegrini has brought in seven new signings this summer, breaking the club’s transfer record on two separate occasions as the club’s owners are finally convinced to go high profile to appease frustrated Hammers fans.
The former Manchester City boss has brought Lukasz Fabianski, Ryan Fredericks, Issa Diop, Jack Wilshere, Fabien Balbuena, Felipe Anderson and Yarmolenko – the latter coming from German giants Borussia Dortmund.
The 28-year-old underlined his joy at manager Pellegrini looking to play attacking football with the ball on the ground, as oppose to perhaps David Moyes’ reign which saw the east Londoners focus on defending.
“I am enjoying being part of this squad,” Yarmolenko said. “We have many good players and the coach wants us to play football and not long balls and play attacking football, which I like.
“I am smiling because I am happy and I am always happy when I am playing football. Now I am really happy. I must continue to train hard and I will be ready for the start of the season.”

The likes of Andre Schurrle, Mario Gotze, Marco Reus, Jadon Sancho and Christian Pulisic saw Yarmolenko drop down the pecking order at Dortmund, allowing him to join West Ham.
The Hammers face Aston Villa on Wednesday in their fourth pre-season fixture of the season before taking on another Championship side in Ipswich Town on Saturday.
