Andrew Robertson has joined Liverpool from Hull City in the summer transfer window.

Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has told The Telegraph that he is not concerned about his price-tag.

Robertson has joined Premier League club Liverpool from Championship outfit Hull City in the summer transfer window.

According to The Telegraph, the Reds had to pay the Tigers a transfer fee of £10 million in order to secure the services of the 23-year-old left-back.

The Scotland international played well for Hull in the Premier League last season and was one of the better left-backs in the English top flight.

The (reported) transfer fee that Liverpool had to pay for Robertson – £10m – is not much in today’s market, but the former Dundee United man has stated that it is not going to affect his performances.

“I wouldn’t quite say that,” Robertson told The Telegraph when asked about his price-tag being a bargain. “We know over the last few years that football’s been a bit crazy.

“The investment all around the world that is making people spend kind of silly money. I think it’s going to keep going up and up.

“You don’t focus on the price tag, you just try to focus on when you get there. The players, themselves, can’t control that.

“If you’re a wee bit more expensive then there’s maybe more pressure on you, but when you come to big clubs like this one, there is always pressure on you.”
