Liverpool beat Bournemouth at Anfield on Saturday afternoon.

Liverpool defender Andrew Robertson has told the club’s official website that he thought midfielder Naby Keita was ‘excellent’ against Bournemouth.
After draws at home to Leicester City and away at West Ham United, Liverpool had to show a response on Saturday afternoon against a Cherries side who were without Callum Wilson and David Brooks.
Liverpool were dominant and went ahead when Sadio Mane turned home James Milner’s cross, and Robertson then set up Georginio Wijnaldum for a superb lob to make it 2-0.
Roberto Firmino’s backheel set up Mohamed Salah to make it 3-0, and that’s how it finished despite Liverpool creating a host of other chances before the final whistle.
Liverpool return to top spot in the Premier League ahead of Manchester City’s game against Chelsea today, and the Reds saw Keita enjoy arguably his best game yet.
Keita was a big signing from RB Leipzig, and having starred in the Bundesliga, many expected him to continue that form in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield at Liverpool.
So far, that hasn’t really happened, with Keita struggling to really impose himself on games, and patience has been preached as he attempts to settle in the Premier League.

Now, left back Robertson has hailed Keita, suggesting it was his best performance yet as he was ‘excellent’ and ‘different class’, believing he will now have confidence to hopefully to kick on, just like Fabinho has in the Liverpool midfield too.
“They were different class. On my side, I thought that Naby was excellent,” said Robertson. “He has taken a wee bit of time to settle in but today was probably his best performance in a Liverpool shirt. I’m sure he can take a lot of confidence from that, which he will. He’s young and he’s had to take time. But if you look at all of us, Fabinho had to take time, me, Chambo.”
“There’s a kind of pattern emerging that you need to settle in and you need to learn the way to play and things like that. I think everyone forgets how young Naby is – 24 tomorrow, he’s only a young boy. He’s a fantastic player and the more he shows it the more people will start talking about him. I thought today he was a different class. I’m sure his confidence will be sky high after today,” he added.
