Andrei Kanchelskis says that Everton can finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.

Former Manchester United and Rangers winger Andrei Kanchelskis has told The Liverpool Echo that Everton can finish in the top four of the Premier League this season.
The former Everton winger believes that the Toffees can claim a Champions League place.
“It’s only three months into the season so we’ll have to wait what happens because it’s too early to talk about improving the team, it’s difficult,” Kanchelskis, who is 47 years of age, told The Liverpool Echo.
“There are too many games around December and January so it’s hard for all the teams in the Premier League.
“If they don’t drop points around that tough period then there’s a chance for them to go for the top four.”
“There’s potential to challenge for a Champions League spot, it’s not a bad squad,” added Kanchelskis. “I hope that they can also buy some new players in January but this is a decision for the chairman and the manager.”

Everton are seventh in the Premier League table at the moment with 19 points from 12 matches.
The Merseyside outfit are six points behind Arsenal, who are currently fourth in the standings and occupy the final Champions League spot.
The Toffees have a good squad, but it is hard to see them break into the top four of the Premier League this season.
Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United make up the top six in the Premier League table at the moment.
It is hard to see any team other than those mentioned above claiming a Champions League spot this season.
Everton will return to action on Sunday evening when they take on Southampton away from home at St. Mary’s Stadium in the Premier League.
Ronald Koeman’s side are not in good form at the moment and need to put a run of positive results together.
