Austrian international Marko Arnautovic has been tipped for a move to Tottenham Hotspur or Arsenal by his countryman Andreas Herzog.
The Stoke City winger has been one of the better players in the Premier League in recent years and has often been tipped with a move to one of the top-flight’s bigger teams,
Now Herzog, who played 103 times for his nation and is currently the head coach of the United States under-23 side, has suggested that Arnautovic can be as good as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and could easily play for one of the North London rivals.
Speaking to Krone Zeitung the Austrian legend stated:
“With all due respect for Stoke, it is not the club in which Arnautovic should continue to play, with his qualities, for a long time.
“With his potential, he belongs to Arsenal or Tottenham, in the Premier League , and he is. Marko is great, tactically top-trained, has a robust body.
“I’ve been comparing Arnautovic with Zlatan Ibrahimovic for years and I’ll stand by that, even though Marko is missing the goals.”
Arnautovic, who was linked with a move to Everton last summer, is undoubtedly a player who should interest teams like Arsenal and Spurs.

The danger for the 28-year-old however is that he may find himself not playing regularly, something he will obviously not want to happen.
Is he good enough to play for Arsenal or Spurs? Undoubtedly. But he would be just one among many at either side. At Stoke he is a big fish in a small pond, a situation that certainly seems to suit him.
