Tottenham Hotspur should take note of Andreas Christensen’s next move at Chelsea, as speculation mounts over the defender’s future.

The Telegraph claim that Christensen could ask for a move away from Chelsea, due to a lack of first-team football.

The centre-back has been knocked out of the starting line-up since Maurizio Sarri arrived, and he has reportedly had enough of sitting on the bench.

And if Chelsea are forced into selling Christensen then Spurs should be first in the queue for him.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are known to be looking for a new centre-back, with Toby Alderweireld’s departure in the imminent future looking inevitable.

Replacing Alderweireld will be very tough, but Christensen has the ability to grow into a defender of similar ability.

Christensen could be the ideal addition to Tottenham’s squad, with Pochettino’s side excellent at developing prospects.

And if Chelsea are open to a sale of the centre-back in January, then Tottenham must take their chance to sign him.
