Bielsa’s last spell in management came in France with Ligue 1 side Lille, but that only lasted a matter of months. The Argentine will be looking to renew his excellent reputation in football at Leeds.

Fans will now be hopeful that installing a manager of Bielsa’s calibre will finally see Leeds end their 14-year spell in the Football League and finally regain promotion to the top tier of English football.
