Leeds United have tied Stuart Dallas down to a new contract this afternoon.

Leeds United have ended rumours over Stuart Dallas’ future by handing him a new contract this afternoon – and club owner Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to send a message to the winger.
The Whites may have lost the likes of Charlie Taylor and Chris Wood this summer, but they have also brought in exciting players such as Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski to boost Thomas Christiansen’s options.
Amid recent exits for Robert Green and Liam Bridcutt, Leeds were also in danger of losing winger Stuart Dallas, with the Belfast Telegraph reporting last week that Norwich City were plotting a move to sign him.
Dallas, 26, joined Leeds from Brentford back in the summer of 2015, reuniting with his former Bees boss Uwe Rosler, and he has been a mainstay of the Leeds side under Rosler, Steve Evans, Garry Monk and now Christiansen.
The Northern Ireland international has hit nine goals in 90 games for Leeds, including a strike against Sunderland earlier this month, and he looks set to be an important player for Christiansen moving forward – especially having signed a new deal today.
With his pre-existing contract set to expire at the end of the season, Leeds have moved to hand Dallas a new three-year contract, keeping him at Elland Road until 2020.
Dallas can now enjoy his football knowing that his future is settled, and Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani took to Twitter this afternoon to send a message to the winger after putting pen to paper on a new contract.
Radrizzani noted that Dallas’ new deal is ‘well deserved’, before putting three hashtags into the message which sum up why Dallas may have committed his future to Leeds; family, pride and ambition.
