Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to send a message to Barry Douglas.
As announced on Blackburn’s official website, the Championship club have signed Douglas on loan from Premier League outfit Leeds.
The Scottish left-back has moved to Rovers on a season-long loan deal and will be looking to make an instant impact at Ewood Park.
Leeds owner Radrizzani has taken to Twitter to send a message to the former Wolverhampton Wanderers star, while Blackburn player Elliott Bennett has welcome him to Rovers.
Good move for Barry Douglas?
Douglas struggled to get playing time at Leeds this season, with Stuart Dallas having established himself as the first-choice left-back at Elland Road despite being a winger by trade.
The Scotsman is a very good player who has extensive experience of playing in the Championship with Leeds and Wolves.
The left-back would make Blackburn better, and for the player himself, the loan move made sense as he would stand a better chance of playing regular first-team football.
Blackburn are sixth in the Championship table at the moment with seven points from four matches.
